Look I’m all for Joe, going into a trade is a fantastic idea. Specially now that there’s a global laborer shortage. But it’s not all job security and money, there are risks in the industry that are not present for the Jim’s. But even then, with a degree, Jim has a bigger chance than Joe, at getting some shit easy corporate or tech or any kind of startup job that pays insane money for hardly any reason. But yes it is a gamble and the odds appear to stacked against the Jim’s of the world. At the end of the day it’s tomato-tomahtoe. It all depends what you make of it.
